Our Story...
Harper's Heroes is a fund started by Matt & Karie Donatelli in honor of their daughter, Harper Ann Donatelli. Harper was born March 1, 2013, measuring 8 pounds, 7 ounces and 20 inches long, a beautiful baby girl.
She suffered a condition during birth called H.I.E. (Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy), which is a condition in which the brain does not receive enough oxygen at birth. After only 4 short days of treatment and testing, Harper passed away peacefully in her parents' arms on March 4, 2013.
Matt & Karie wanted to start this fund to honor their first daughter and have her name live on. Their wish is that Harper will be able to help others in many ways. Harper has touched so many lives already in her few short days with her family and will continue to touch many others in the years to come.
